  • Random photos of my trip to Cuba

    No particular order

'55 Caddy'n '56 Buick drove the 13 of us to Santa Lucia for a day at the beach.

Yes, that's an outhouse, and yes, I uhm, had to use it

Likeness of the murderer were more abundant this time than in 2000
It saddens me that this generation doesn't take the time to learn the
truth about this man before splashing his likeness on TShirts

These water friendship jugs are used throughout to collect rainwater
that is later used for laundry and other household chores

Bikes abound, a major form of transportation within city limits

Converted trucks serve as passenger buses, there are benches in the
back for the people to sit on, the cutout is the only form of ventilation

My cousin's tractor, he built it from scrap pieces of many
different tractors, and services it alike

Horse-driven buggies are the local taxies

    Gotta love that zoom lense!

    Neighboorhood street

    Taxi, anyone?

    Home, sweet home

  • I love these pics!  the parrot is outstanding.  cant wait to see ya on tuesday!

  • Sam, thanks for the words of advice.  Don't worry, I won't hurt anyone else (ie - drink & drive, fistfight, etc.).  Right now I'm paying the price for my punishment.  My tunnel has no light at the end right now, so a "new chapter" is kinda out of the question.  Hopefully I'll be able to get there someday, but until then don't worry about me, focus on positive images such as your photos.
